The question I was wondering today was, where is the futrue of the internet and blogging going in 2010 and beyond? The internet has been going at light speed for the last couple of years and now it seems to be at a stand still. Let’s take a look.
The internet itself has changed the transfer of information like never before and changed business forever. There is no getting around it.
First was a simple web page and has innovated itself ever since. Flash videos came about, audio, power point presentations and all kinds of graphics.
Websites began to change and fluctuate to different styles and then the Blog emerged. Social networks started popping up which I am not that impressed with. Now we have video websites and video marketing. And you can even watch TV shows online at anytime 24/7.
The blog is the latest change in website platforms. After all the blog is just a different kind of website platform. Where will blogging go from here with 1000′s of plugins, themes and platforms. Is it over. We seem to be at a stand still. The internet is a closed system built up on wires and cables, it is finite not infinite.
So the question is what will the next internet craze be? What type of new platform will emerge? Have we reached the pinnacle of online technology?
I hope not we have come so far in a small period of time. I am pretty sure there are some people right now working on some new platform or web interface that will take this whole thing in a new direction.
