Declaration Of Independence Is Now A Worthless Document

The Declaration is just a memory now. Is has not been shredded in the literal sense , but it might as well have been shredded because the US Government definitely does not abide by it anymore. The Declaration was signed and brought about to avoid what is exactly happening right now in the US.

Let’s take a look and see why.

The forefathers stood for something, freedom for the people. Well most of them did have slaves and that part I do not agree with. They stood for freedom from the British Monarchy and big companies running everything. They wanted people to have their say so and control of how of how the new country was going to be run. Not some outside influence to have all the control.

For instance OPEC controls the oil prices around the world. The last time I checked Cartels were illegal. So OPEC controls the financial destiny of America just like the tea company that cause the Boston Tea Party.

The same thing goes for the Federal Reserve it is not even a Federal Bank. It is a privately owned bank that controls the monetary system in America which is also illegal.

These two examples are perfect situations where outside forces control America.

How this country is run and what happens to the people are no longer the people’s decision. Just look at the Irag war, it was not the American people’s decision but the Government. To be honest the Government does not even control things anymore it is big money. Big multi-billion dollar companies now control Washington and the direction of the country.

These big companies buy and write laws at will with their lobbyists. They make the tax laws and loopholes so they can pay less taxes while the average citizen pays more on their personal taxes. Politicians are apparently not in control. There is a whole industry based on legal bribery “oops” I mean lobbyists. These companies pay their way into Washington slipping their money into politicians pockets so they can get their way at the expense of the American people. These politicians are being bought left and right selling their positions of power to the highest bidder in Corporate America. They compromise their values to the highest bidder which is extremely shameful.

This is what the forefathers were against and that is exactly what is happening now.

Let’s be honest the word ethics and politics do not belong in the same sentence. Congress has the so called ethics committee, you have got to be kidding me. The committee itself has no ethics let alone congress or any other branch of Government. That is what is lacking in Washington, ethics. I believe at some point before elected the want to be politician had some ethical values. Then once in a position of power their ethical guidelines starts to blur because of the big money lobbyists.

The people who started this country would be up in arms again if they were alive today and saw the way the Government is destroying this country from the inside out. Selling this country right out from underneath the American people. Our Government is doing far more damage than any outside foreign power.

You see this is why America was started to fight against this kind of power taking over and ruling the people. So it would seem now that the Declaration of Independence is now a worthless document. It might as well be shredded because what it stands has already been torn apart. Our Government keeps stepping all over it doing whatever they want or whatever big money wants them to do.

This country is in serious trouble and it is only going to get worse
