The higher the oil prices the lower the economy is going to get, the less your money is worth. This is happening all over the planet. We are definitely feeling it here in the US. The recession is here, well it has been here for a while now, and it is only going to get worse. The 1920 depression is going to look like a tea party compared to what is coming. Let’s take a look.

It is no secret that rising oil pricesis causing all of this, it does not matter who did what to cause this it is happening and now we have to deal with it somehow. It could all be avoided if we started drilling the sites that are already there not being used, and there are plenty of them all over the world. So the question is, is there really an oil shortage or is it all just propaganda so big oil companies can make more profits? I believe the latter. Every nation is feeling the financial pinch.

Aside form that here in the US the housing market is continuing to crash and now we are borrowing money form other countries to stay afloat, what a disaster. Thanks Washington for allowing us to get to this point. We can all thank our yellow belly spineless politicians who led us here, great job guys.

The airline industry is now in crash mode. Aready 5 airline haves declared bankruptcy. It used to be maybe 1 airline every 5-10 years would have to file for bankruptcy, now look already 5 have. I predict by the end of the year 2008 the airline industry will be close to be totally and completely grounded.

Another issue is the rice crisis now happening on a planetary scale. Rice which used to be a staple food for 1000s of years is now being rationed. There are other reasons for not directly related to oil but none the less it is another planet wide crisis happening right now.

Now I do not mean to touch on doom and gloom but these are things happening right now, this is a new reality we would rather not deal with, but are now stuck with. So the next question is what is next? Whatever it is chances are it won’e be good for the average person who is not ultra wealthy.
