What is the Iraq war all about anyways? Is it about freeom and Democracy or just about big muti-national companies making huge profits at the expense of the Iraqi people? I believe the latter. Let’s take a look.

Many people may not know this but the war in Iraq was drafted 8 or 9 months before 911. The maps were drawn up of the oil fields in Iraq. So is this another war over oil? It looks like it. Getting rid of Saddam Hussein was just an excuse to go over there and watch the oil fields. Now as you may have already heard it is all over the news media that the American people were lied to about the cause of going to war with Iraq. The American people do not like the war it is the Government that is keeping it going.

Here are a few more tid bits you may not know about simply because the news media will not tell you or the Government won’t tell us either.

Well we all know about Halliburton the big oil company Dick Cheney used to work for. We have all figured this one out, this is a no brainer. He has positioned his previous company to make billions off this war. My prediction is that he will go work for them again after he is out of office which he should have never been in to begin with. If you are with big oil you do not belong in any official political position period.

Not many people know about this one at all. There are 3 international banks that own the banking system in Iraq. Meaning that the Iraqi people do not own their own banking, money system or even interest rates.. Imagine that they do not control their own financial destiny 3 outside international banks do. I wonder if the Iraqi people even know about this. This does not sound like Democracy and freedom to me. Which means that these 3 outside banks stand to make billions in profits. I bet you have not heard that in the news. Well here in America we don’t even control our own interest rate either.

Here is another juicy tid bit. This may still be in effect or not it was a few years ago. There are no tarrifs for products coming into Iraq. Which means that products and services coming into Iraq are not taxed. Now no country in their right mind would ever let products come in without any tarrif tax attatched to. This is revenue for the country. Every soveirgn country has tarrifs for products coming in. Once again Iraq loses millions of dollars while companies save money by not paying taxes.

Here is one more and the last one for now. If they were allowed to and being allowed to is the operative word here Iraq could pump out more oil than Saudi Arabia. Which means oil prices would drop and big oil companies would lose big profits and Saudi Arabia would lose power and status which would be ok with me. You see Iraq is not being allowed to pump out the amount of oil they want to. They are being controlled not to pump out oil by OPEC and the other big oil producers. They want the oil to stay in the ground. Once again the Irqai people have no control over there own future. It is being controlled by others.

This is only a small piece of the puzzle of how Iraq is losing control over there own destiny. So if they are being controlled how much freedom democracy do they really have? Not much at all, only the amount they are allowed to have. So there are multi-national companies making millions and billions off the Iraq war. I guess crime does pay after all.
